About the New Code

According to Professor John Grinder, one of the developers of NLP, the NLP we know is “the Classic Code.” In recent years he has developed a “New Code” for NLP. He calls the model “NLP – The New Code,” or simply “The New Code.” The approach focuses on a high-performance state and on the connection between that state and working on goals.

The New Code uses play, movement and breathing as part of its facilitation processes.

NLP was developed in the late 1970s by Dr. Richard Bandler and Professor John Grinder. After years of fruitful collaboration and extensive development of classic NLP, the two creators parted ways. Each of them went on to develop NLP in his own way.

Grinder began looking for processes in which communication with the subconscious is fast and simple. He discovered that when playing or performing a complex task, a person reaches deep concentration and a connection to a high-performance state.

Using NLP tools, Grinder linked the high-performance state with the achievement of goals. In doing so, he created a new kind of NLP.

NLP New Code processes include playing with juggling balls, jumping on a trampoline, breathing and movement exercises, and more.

Anyone who studies NLP – The New Code can develop their own games while following four simple principles that make up all NLP New Code processes.

Amir Retter teaches the NLP New Code techniques. He learned the method directly from Professor John Grinder and took part in several courses at the NLP Academy in England.

In recent years, Retter College has been running workshops in which the NLP New Code method is taught.
