Children and teens bring a world of their own to every session:
screens and social media,
questions about where they fit in among their friends,
fears, doubts and struggles with self-confidence,
and also strengths that can be discovered and worked with.

How do you meet them where they are?

In the specialization we will address social pressure and comparison with others,
body image and self-confidence,
attention difficulties and ADHD,
and adapting your facilitation to the emotional and social difficulties that arise.

In the specialization you will learn to adapt NLP tools to the world of children and teens:
to build rapport, to use play and guided imagery, and to work with the difficulties and strengths each child brings to the session.

  2. Professional focus: Go deeper into working with children and teens, and adapt your facilitation tools to their needs and to the questions that come up from their parents.

  • Speaks the children's language: You use imagination, visual props and play to adapt the process to the child's language and way of expressing themselves.

  • A clear goal for the session: You learn how to structure the first session, set goals and choose processes that match the difficulty the child brings.

  • Working with the senses: You practice visual demonstrations, guided imagery and positive anchors, alongside work with inner dialogue and self-image.

  • Structured and empowering: You learn structured processes for working with perspectives, resources and self-confidence, and adapt them to the child's age and situation.

  • Recordings of the lessons:

Specialization students receive the recordings of the sessions,
so you can review the material again and again,
as much as you need, even after the specialization ends.
If you missed a lesson, or part of one –
the recording lets you catch up on the material with no problem at all.

  • Practicing with children during the sessions:

In the Zoom sessions you can practice with children and get guidance from the instructors. You can also invite your own child to take part in a demonstration.

  • Extra time for questions and answers:

After the session ends and the material has been covered,
there is extra time for questions and answers.

  • Learn from home:

    Join the sessions through Zoom
and save the trip to class:
no need to leave the house,
or waste time on travel, parking and running around.

Hands-on practice with childrenincluding professional supervision

Between sessions you will put what you have learned into practice, so you build experience already during the specialization.
During the sessions too, after the instructors' demonstration, you will have time to practice what you learned with children – it can be your own child, a neighbor's, a relative, a friend's son and so on.
Of course, you will receive professional guidance and supervision all along the way.
After each practice you will be asked to submit a report, which the specialization's assistants will review.

Frequently asked questions

What if I cannot attend the Zoom sessions live?

Zoom burst into our lives with the lockdowns, and both we and our students got hooked (a healthy addiction). It is efficient and works great, and it is super convenient: you can study without leaving home and without wasting time and money on travel. The sessions are run completely professionally, the material is presented clearly with slides, the assistants help with technical and professional questions, and there are even bonuses that do not exist in in-person studies: extra time for questions and answers, and recordings of the sessions – which let you review the material and enjoy the knowledge with no time limit.

I'm not a parent and I don't have a child to practice with...

Let's separate two things. There are exercises during the lesson. Those can be done on a child, or on another course participant who has no children.

Between sessions you will need to find a child or teen to practice on. You can practice with a child from your extended family, a neighbor's child, or a friend's.

From experience, finding children to practice with is much easier and simpler than it seems, because many parents are glad of the opportunity. And if you still cannot find one, we will give you tips and the wording of a message you can post on social networks and the like, to find a child to practice with during the specialization.

I studied NLP somewhere else – can I register for the workshop?

Absolutely. The children, teens and ADHD specialization requires prior NLP studies at Practitioner level at least. It does not matter where you studied – what matters is that you have the prior knowledge.

My child was diagnosed with ADHD – will I learn how to help them?

One of our goals in this specialization is to help parents, and even grandparents, help their children and grandchildren, including with ADHD. Alongside the many gifts of ADHD, everyday life comes with a great deal of tension, from the surroundings and inside the home.

In the specialization you will learn tools that you can use in a playful way to help your child cope with procrastination, impulsivity, behavior problems and the emotional difficulties that come with the story. You will understand your child better, and you will know how to help them better.

You will learn processes that help them at home or outside, with siblings or friends, at preschool or school and anywhere you need. And you will be able to do all of it in a fun way, so that your child cooperates and, with your help, experiences success, builds their self-confidence and realizes their abilities.
