When cancer enters your life – it changes everything.

Alongside medical treatment, the workshop focuses on the emotional support of the person coping with the illness.
We will learn how to adapt the facilitation conversation and the imagery to the stage the person is at,
and practice NLP and guided imagery processes
to support them throughout the coping process.

What will we learn about emotional support for coping with cancer and other serious illnesses?

We will work with calm language, relaxation and guided imagery,
and with adapting processes to different situations along the course of the illness.
The study includes case analysis and building a facilitation sequence,
so that you can connect the tools to the encounter with the person in front of you.

Workshop graduates share their stories

Michal Lapidot, a nurse by profession, shares her experience of the workshop

Michal Lapidot, a nurse by profession, shares her experience of the workshop
  • “Taking part in the ‘Support and Healing from Cancer’ workshop is important and deeply empowering for every therapist. The understanding of cause and effect in the subject of cancer grows deeper and stronger. I warmly recommend that every facilitator take the workshop and enjoy an empowering experience.”

    Varda Gonshorovitzdental hygienist
  • “Adapting the 10-question interview, and adapting imagery for people recovering from cancer, was very meaningful learning for me. The distinction that cancer can be put to sleep, not necessarily cured, also made a change for me. After the workshop I felt an expansion in the flexibility of the brain. You can bring this into any facilitation and know that there are more options, solutions and approaches.”

Lin EisenbergEnglish teacher for young learners
  • “The workshop allowed me to take a more optimistic approach to cancer. I learned ways to use the wisdom of the body and mind to prevent the disease and to ‘put it to sleep’. This encouraged me to persevere, and even to increase the positive things I do for myself. If there is a way to ‘put cancer to sleep’, there is probably also a way to prevent it. And that encourages me greatly.”

Nitza Arbelphysicist and senior laughter yoga teacher
  • “In the workshop I gained a great deal of strength, and also a certain sense of mission, because I know that the people and children who come to me will receive tools to live better, will learn ways of coping day to day, and that in the end calm and positive thinking will have a good influence on their lives in the future.”
